LaMonica Beverages is proud to welcome Ale Syndicate Brewers to the family. Their sentiment is “We love two things: good beer and Chicago.” Co-Founders, Samuel and Jesse Evans, spent years home brewing. Once they realized they were good at it they moved to California for a chance of a lifetime. They started a brewery there, making only bottled craft beer. They found much success. However, they missed Chicago. With a drive to do big things the two men moved back to Chicago. In July of 2014, they were able to complete work on their own space. They now produce stronger and bolder bottled and draught brews that come from the heart of Chicago.
In our warehouse:
Sunday Session Hopped-Up Ale is a mellow brew clocking in at only 4.8% ABV. Light, but deliciously hoppy, you can have a few and still remember the fun.
Municipal IPA is an all-Crystal ale, giving it a floral aroma and slightly spicy flavor. Well-balanced and refreshing, it’s everything we think a good IPA should be.
Van de Velde Belgo-American Pale Ale blends the subtly spicy and fruity flavors of Belgian yeast with a smooth, slightly sweet malt character. Add in the bold, bitter profile of American hops and you’ve got a complex, ambitious but still approachable brew.
